Coco Chanel blessed the world with the little black dress, a piece of apparel essential to any lady's arsenal. A garment at once, classic, elegant, simplistic and sexy. And who can forget Audrey Hepburn in her iconic shift dress as Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany's?
At last, I feel the time has come for me to begin the search for what will hopefully a long standing staple in my wardrobe. This is a big step towards the tasteful and timeless side of my life that I'm working towards building. (As opposed to the one that involves spontaneously backpacking around Europe).
A good friend is throwing a debut in a few weeks - sort of mixed coming out, birthday and graduation party - and in real style, it's going to be a black and white affair.
So. Here I am. In need of a LBD.
